Friday November 24th
The festivities begin with the Santa Claus Parade on Friday November 24th at 6pm. Know of a group that would like to participate? Register to enter a float here.
Also scheduled for November 24th is perennial favourite, Markdale Moonlight Madness. Set a holiday tone with the village Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony (at the corner of Main St and Hwy 10) immediately following the conclusion of the parade. Enjoy some refreshments and stop in to visit local businesses which will stay open late so you can shop locally and cross some items off your Christmas to-do list. And don’t be surprised if you see the Grinch doing his own mingling and jingling!
