Support Grey Highlands Food Banks and Programs This Christmas
As the holiday season approaches, many of us will soon be busy planning gatherings, decorating our homes, and checking names off our shopping lists. For some in Grey Highlands and the neighbouring communities, the Christmas countdown brings a very different kind of worry. How will I afford both gifts and enough food for my family?
In recent years, demand on local food banks has grown dramatically – far more than many organizations are equipped to handle on their own. This rise in need is a reminder. Christmas is the season of giving so it’s the perfect time to show support within our communities.
If you’re able, it’s a great time of year to let the spirit of the season inspire you. Whether it’s a donation, a gift, or a few hours of volunteer time, it will be appreciated. A small act of generosity can make a meaningful difference for a local family.
Below are several incredible programs in and around Grey Highlands that are working tirelessly to support our neighbours. If you’re looking for a way to give back this Christmas, these groups would be grateful for your help.
