AGORA: Path of Light, Blue Mountain
Enjoy an enchanting forest space inspired by storytellers and nature. Blue Mountain says “participants walk this circular path, they will encounter a series of interactive lighting installations based on the five elements of air, space, earth, water and fire.”

Thornbury Turkey Trot
This Thanksgiving everyone is invited to enjoy the fall colours of the Beaver Valley and participate in the Thornbury Turkey Trot 5k run/walk,10k, Half Marathon and free Kid’s Run! Join in the fun at this family-friendly event and support the Thornbuy/Clarksburg Rotary Club’s many community projects.

Blue Mountain Apple Harvest Festival
Blue Mountain’s Apple Harvest Festival shares gratitude for the lands we live on, and that the farmers who feed us, for fabulous fall colours, crisp autumn air and even crisper apples! Enjoy a harvest weekend in Ontario’s largest apple growing region. Featured events include live music, family activities, fall colours hiking, cider tasting and more.

Annual Meaford Scarecrow Invasion & Festival
Meaford has been invaded by scarecrows – they’re hanging from lamp posts, posing in windows, and gathering in the downtown and other areas! This popular event fosters community spirit by involving and including all residents, businesses and organizations in planning and implementing the event. Enjoy a walk through Meaford to observe the creativity and excitement of businesses and residents as they decorate their properties with scarecrows and fall décor. While you’re in town, stop by these popular locations.
The Meaford Scarecrow Festival runs from mid-September through mid-October

West Grey Hallowe’en Party
The West Grey Halloween Party invites trick-or-treaters to walk the Trick-Or-Treat Trail through Durham where they will encounter tricks, treats, and even a few challenges along the way. Dress up and join the party where you will meet various challenges allowing you to collect stamps on your passport. Stop in to visit the various businesses and community groups handing out treats along the trail. Once Trick-Or-Treaters have their passports completed, they can return it to one of the passport locations for a chance to win a mega Halloween gift basket. (Full trail takes approx 1-1.5hrs)
Registration is required. When registering, please register for only the children attending the event. Tickets are not required for parents / guardians.
The West Grey Hallowe’en Party happens on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 10am – 2pm
