Kitchen cleaning products can not only be expensive, they’re often not the most environmentally (or health) friendly due to chemical content, and that’s the last thing you want when you’re cleaning the space where your family cooks and eats. Our mothers and grandmothers (let’s face it, Grampa didn’t spend much time cleaning the kitchen) often handled these jobs using tried-and-true, old fashioned methods that have been overlooked in the name of modern convenience.
