It’s June and garage sale season is officially upon us in Grey County! While you’re out looking for bargains this weekend, stop in at not one, but two local sales being help to benefit our own community. Beavercrest Community School is holding a sale to raise funds for the School Community Council (commonly known as the PTA) and Markdale Baptist Church is doing their part to raise funds for the Markdale Food Bank. Make a point of stopping by to support your friends and neighbours as they support two wonderful local organizations!
Beavercrest Community School – to benefit School Community Council
Have items to donate? Items must be clean, in working order and in saleable condition. No large items such as furniture, please. Drop off on Friday June 7th at the school from 5:30-7:00pm. Call the school office at 519-986-2990 for more information. Unsold items will be donated to a local charity. Donations of baked goods to stock the refreshments table would be greatly appreciated!
All proceeds will go towards Beavercrest SCC Fundraising initiatives.

Stop by to enjoy a chat, music, coffee, tea, treats and deals!
Located at 144 Lorne Street next to Chapman’s: Hwy 10 to Main St, west to Wellington St, north to Markdale Baptist Church parking lot. Donations are welcome, must be in good, saleable condition and can be co-ordinated through Arlene at firstname.lastname@example.org. Volunteers are also welcome to help on sale day, please contact Arlene.
