Santa Claus Parades begin in earnest this weekend across Grey County! The man in red is going to be busy for the next few weeks as he makes no less than 8 appearances in our local towns over the next 4 weeks. Grab your coziest socks, put on your warmest toque and mitts, pick up a hot beverage from a local coffee shop and settle in to welcome the Christmas season to Grey County!

71st Owen Sound Kiwanis Santa Claus Parade 10:00am
Join in celebrating this year’s theme, “Music” with costume, characters, dance and displays!
Saturday November 25th
Markdale Santa Claus Parade 1:00pm
As usual, the parade starts at the old Chapman’s property and makes its way through town to the arena. Stay for a visit with Santa after the parade at the Walter Harris Memorial Library!
Saturday December 2nd
Meaford Santa Claus Parade and Window Unveiling 6:30pm
Enjoy a stroll down Sykes Street as businesses unveil their holiday window displays and stay for the parade, tree lighting and a visit from Santa!
Durham Santa Claus Parade 12:30pm
Enjoy a true “small town” Christmas parade and meet Santa after the parade at the Fire Hall! This year’s theme is “A Canadian Christmas”.
Dundalk Santa Claus Parade 6:00pm
Festivities run all day, beginning at 10:00am! Visits with Santa begin at 7:00pm at the downtown parkette.
Hanover Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade 7:00pm
Watch the parade make it’s way down 10th Street. This year’s theme is “A Red And White Christmas”.

Holstein Non-Motorized Parade 1:00pm
Come to Holstein for a step back in time to a traditional non-motorized Christmas parade!
Saturday December 16th
Chatsworth Santa Claus Parade 10:30am
The parade begins at the Arena parking lot and ends at the Legion where all are invited to linger for treats and to exchange greetings with friends and neighbours!
