2026 Youth Sports Registrations Are Now Open in Grey Highlands
Spring is just around the corner in Grey County, and that means it’s time for families to start thinking about youth sports registration for the 2026 season. Local programs for baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse and swimming are now accepting registrations for kids throughout the area.
These community programs are a great way for kids to stay active, build confidence, and make friends while enjoying the spring and summer months.

⚾ Markdale Minor Softball
Organizers are asking families to register as soon as possible so they can confirm team numbers with the league for the upcoming season.
Markdale Minor Softball is currently looking for players born between 2013 and 2016 in particular.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Flesherton Minor Baseball season.

Markdale Minor Soccer has opened registration for the upcoming season using a new online registration portal.

🥍 West Grey Rampage – Minor Lacrosse Registration
West Grey Rampage (West Grey Minor Lacrosse) registration for the 2026 season is currently open. The registration deadline is June 1, 2026.
Programs available include:
- Soft Lacrosse (ages 3–4) – free program for beginners
- Paperweight (ages 5–6)
- Rep teams from U9 to U22
Lacrosse is Canada’s national summer sport and continues to grow in popularity across West Grey and Grey County.

🏊 Swimming Lessons – Hanover Regional Aquatic Centre (P&H Centre)
Swimming lessons at the Hanover Regional Aquatic Centre are a popular option for families throughout Grey County, West Grey, and Hanover.
Registration for both Spring and Summer 2026 sessions is now open.
