Markdale Rotary’s annual “Ski Around” is being held at the Nicholls’ farm on Family Day weekend this year. I’ve enjoyed this event on skis and snowshoes in years past and encourage everyone to support a great cause, get some exercise and go for a lap at the Nicholls’ farm! Sponsorship forms are posted at Markdale Scotiabank, PJ Knickerbockers and other locations in town.
A full schedule of fun events is planned for Family Day 2018 at King Edward Park in Markdale!

Don’t forget to drop your old skates off at the Skate Exchange and consider donating a new helmet so local youth can participate on the ice!
