Santa Claus Parades begin in earnest this weekend across Grey County! The man in red is going to be busy for the next few weeks as he makes his way through our local towns and villages so put on your coziest socks, grab your warmest toque and mitts, pick up a hot beverage (free at some parade locations!) and settle in to enjoy the beginning of Christmas in Grey County!
Saturday November 24th
Markdale Santa Claus Parade 1:00pm
As usual, the parade starts at the old Chapman’s property and makes its way through town to the arena. Stay for a visit with Santa after the parade at the Walter Harris Memorial Library!
Saturday December 1st
Durham Santa Claus Parade 12:30pm
Enjoy a “Christmas on the Farm” and meet Santa after the parade at the Fire Hall!
Dundalk Santa Claus Parade 6:00pm
Events start at the Ruth Hargrave Library at 10am. Food vendors and a band at the Main Street Parkette at 5pm. Free hot chocolate and coffee at the parkette during the parade. Parade starts at 6pm
Meaford Santa Claus Parade and Window Unveiling 7:00pm
Enjoy a stroll down Sykes Street as businesses unveil their holiday window displays and stay for the parade, tree lighting and a visit from Santa! Window unveiling at 6pm, parade starts at 7pm
Hanover Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade 7:00pm
This year’s theme is “Lights & Sounds of Christmas”. Parade proceeds on 10th Street from McDonald’s Restaurant to Hanover Foodland.
Neustadt Christmas Parade 5pm
Visit Neustadt to browse the stores, take in the parade and then stop by the arena to see Santa up close and enjoy holiday activities and free hot beverages.
Sunday December 2nd
Feversham Parade and Breakfast With Santa 10:30am
The Feversham Kinsmen invite you to join them for Breakfast with Santa from 9-10:30am at the Osprey Rec Centre followed by the Parade at 10:30. Gift wrapping (by donation) from 8am-1pm in support of the Centre Grey Health Services Foundation.

Holstein Non-Motorized Parade 1:00pm
Come to Holstein for a step back in time to a traditional non-motorized Christmas parade!
Saturday December 15th
Chatsworth Santa Claus Parade 10:30am
The parade begins at the arena parking lot and ends at the Legion where all are invited to linger for treats and to exchange greetings with friends and neighbours!
